Makar Sankranti 🌞🌽🌴🌾πŸ₯•πŸŒΏπŸ’πŸŒ»

As our beloved Sun makes the directional shift towards Northen hemisphere, we commemorate its arrival in Makara (Capricorn)

When the bright coloured kites decorate the whole sky as the West Wind blows! A hundred hues fills up the skies, with flying high the precious diamonds of many sizes and coloursπŸͺ And the festive mood fills up the air…
May you too reach the heights of happiness and prosperity in your lives.

Leave all your past grudges, troubles and sorrows into the bonfire of Lohri,πŸ”₯ that you surrounded last night; so the new beginnings of health and abundance get the desired space within you!

Let no stubbornness remain in you, as we know it’s time to pop the corn and emerge as a flower that’s ready to bloom in us.

Sweetness of the sugarcane will provide you with enough sweetness to bear the heat that a nut may bring along. And never could a seed of bitterness like sesame, if ever get planted in you, will affect you in anyway!

Get tuned to the melodies of life that Pepa, Gogona and Jetuka plays, and keep grooving forward on to the beats of the Dhols of joyous celebrations that the new beginnings holds. Eloquently wrapped in the Mekhala Chador folds!

May the earthen pots you carry within is always filled with enormous joy, gratitude and sweetness, and our beloved Sun keeps brightly shining upon us…

This oldest Indian festival, which unusually falls on the same date every year – is a perfect Khichadi (mixture) of Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Makkar Sakramana, Makara Vilakku, Poush, Pedda Panduya, Uttarayan, Bihu, Pongal, and many more other ways we address this special day by. So to honour our beloved Sun and reap the benefits from the commencement of the harvest season; that the labour of love, sweat and blood of our amazing farmers helps us bring on to our plate!

May the sunlight and all it’s blessings continue to motivate you and fill your lives with enormous potential and lots of optimism in every way πŸ’

Happy fantastic fun filled Festive Day everyone πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒžπŸŒΎπŸŒ½πŸ₯•πŸŒΏπŸŒ΄πŸͺπŸ”₯
