The place where I love to begin and end my day

The place in the entire universe that I truly own and that truly accepts me for who and the way I am

Rooms here simply light up with the brightest of colours when friends and family soak in fun & joy together

Triumph, glory and wisdom often rest on the bookshelves here and the pages in hands turn with outmost warmth

Faint, and sometimes loud and clear is what seeps through the windows in the form of familiar sounds, noises and music from here…

Delicious smell of spices, coffee and chai carry all the essential strength, energy and vibes, from the kitchen which gets seasoned with loads of love and affection

Vase on the windowsills holds together the bunches of all the blooms that our love has grown

Millions of dreams sit on the sofa with all the kindness and trust in our hearts

Moon often shines upon us with its sweetest smile and the stars twinkles from all directions when the bed takes all the load to ease the burdens with just a few gentle strokes

Nooks and crannies love to collect dust in some places, while the souls here are determined to wipe it all clean

There’s more that makes ours a home than just its appearance from brick and mortars – it’s our shelter, it’s our safest place to protect us from all disruptions and darkest of fears. Our paraphernalia of memories, encirclements of all our emotions and is simply a place of peace and unconditional love 💞

As the twilight nets the plunging sun; watching the green elms trickle the shadows, through the balcony I watch birds returning home, I am reminded of the special day when we became the permanent dwellers of this paradise.

Today I simply wish to lay down to rest among the meadows and give our home all the love and all the light it wholeheartedly deserves!

There really is no other place like here, so let’s just stay home dear 💗
